This Nigerian physician’s reflection is a powerful and personal story that nicely explores the supply aspect of brain drain. It lays out well the “push” factors that drive physicians away from low resource settings in a fashion that is quite understandable.
I thought this was a neat large-scale trial looking at the impact of implementing widespread rapid malaria testing. As ever, health systems are complex, and it’s hard to be sure what an intervention will result in. Check it out…
