Oct GH Readings

Not to get too NYTimes focused, but these two were quite good:

A great piece about the reality of mental health in a low resource setting.  This parallels patient experiences I and many of my colleagues have seen; as with the US, mental health is a distinctly second-tier priority in most health care systems, and when there is much less than we have here, it becomes quite bad.
Good discussion of the more local refugee crisis, less prominent in the news of late compared to Syria, but also of import.
