A nice final comment by Jared, inspired by the absurdity of The Fast and The Furious: Toyko Drift (which is playing on Hyderabad TV today).
Hyderabad Racing: The Slow and the Persistent
We leave back for Boston in about 12 hours; it’s been a good trip, though I think we’re all ready to get back home at this point. My thanks to Bassima, Jalpan, Jared, and Mandy for their energy and enthusiasm; to our driver Anil for working long hours with a smile (and keeping us alive in Hyderabadi traffic); to our cook Lakshmi for excellent meals; to Gopal for providing the nucleus and the connections for this entire hungama; and to our many, many partners around town who gave so freely of their time and energy to help us get a sense of what the Indian healthcare system is like.
For the year to come this blog will continue to have posts from the global health pathway residents on a monthly basis, mandated posts from all BMC IM residents who do away trips, as well as my literature updates, so please do keep coming back to it.
