I just finished “Reimagining Global Health” (http://www.ucpress.edu/book.php?isbn=9780520271999) by the Farmer/Kim/Kleinman elders with the excellent Matt Basilico pulling it all together (as he did the class on which it based; numerous well-known chapter authors as well). Great both as an introduction to the field (for you trainees) and as a well-balanced look at essentially all major issues in global health from the HMS GHE perspective. Definitely left it with both some re-invigoration as well as some new thoughts.
I’m also in Haiti, which warrants some discussion in another post.
